Pembroke College

Last night I had dinner in the Victoria Hotel in Rothesay, tonight I am having it in the very different surroundings of Pembroke College in Oxford, where the annual meeting of the British Irish Association is taking place.

The dinner table is my extra photo - as someone said, like dining at Hogwarts. But the discussion both over dinner and in the earlier sessions was good, The final one of the day, which lasted almost three hours, featured a presentation from Robert Hazel of the Constitution Unit followed by a panel of Kier Starmer, Lord Callahan, Carwen Jones and myself discussing - inevitably - Brexit.
