But, then again . . . . .

Luggage.

A year ago, I transported Jnr to his rented flat where he would be studying for his MSc in zoology. He fitted in the front seat of our modest car and all his worldly goods went in the back. Today, using the the much larger courtesy car that I'm having to drive at the moment, his worldly goods filled filled almost the entire space inside, apart from that reserved for me, the driver. He will be following by train with a large and full rucksack.

Since the skill set needed for the research he's been doing includes a large helping of statistics; he's been putting the knowledge to good use to fund his living expenses for the past year with plenty of earnings left over for spending on personal property. Myself? I've never been inside a betting shop - and wouldn't know what to do if I did venture in. Jnr, on the other hand, has been banned from most of betting chains within a 1 mile radius of said flat.
