All things familiar

A lazy day today, sort of. We had a laze by the pool but it was a bit cooler and the threat of rain made us leave our sun beds for an early lunch. We went to get last minute gifts, a drink in our favourite bars and back to the hotel for a siesta before facing the evening.

It all went quite well, we had drinks in one and went for lunch in another, at this point another down pour occurred, we were sat outside, as the thunder rolled, loudly, and the lightning sparked we opted to move inside. A good decision. We ended up there for a good hour, what else to do but sample the local beer and garlic bread! We sat and watched people run or walk and those resigned to the fact they were going to get wet! Not us, we were inside.

We made a move when dry and went to the tattoo shop just to see if my appointment could be sooner than 8pm. Best they could do was 6pm so we went for that. (Save your lectures please about having a tattoo abroad especially my good friend Mrs M, I can hear you now about defacing my body, and abroad too!). We walked back along the sea front, I love walking in the sea shore but the sight of all the jelly fish has put me off, there are loads!

With that all sorted, off back to our hotel for a siesta. Then back along the road for 6pm. They are very nice in the tattoo shop and clean, steralised all good, the only thing to watch for is that some people are allergic to the red dye! He said my arm may drop off but it will not kill me, such a sense of humour. One of the few over here who have one!

Tattoo done, back to meet our friends for a steak! But it poured, we walked as far as we could until the rain started to bounce! We were stuck. Not in a bar unfortunately, Outside the sex shop! Outside, we most certainly did not venture in!

Once the rain stopped, we managed to get back to the hotel. We met our friends and went to the steak house, very reasonably priced and steak was beautiful, every morcel eaten.

Then it was bed time. We have a long day tomorrow as we travel home. Part of me is sad, its been a lovely week to chill and not worry about day to day things. The main part can't wait to see my cherubs and my friends and all things familiar.
