With the shorter days it was inevitable that I'd start to return to night photography.

Compared to Saturday's aerialist extravaganza (which was photographed from directly opposite this image), this is a more typical evening view of Bradford's City Park, although the patterns and colours of fountains, and of the lights on the Town Hall behind, varies quite a lot. The pool is usually full at this time of the evening, which provides for fuller reflections.

Further evidence of the Christmas lights switch on lies in the two trees in front of the Town Hall, and the illuminations of Market Street beyond.
