Climbing French beans on the trellis

I'm blipping this to record the wonderful French beans we've been eating for ages. It was rather late in the year when I bought a few small Climbing French bean seedlings which I planted in a big old plastic recycling box filled with basic potting compost. I hoped they would grow up the trellis right outside the back door, which some of our bird feeders hang off.

They were slow to grow but while we were on holiday they suddenly put on a lot of foliage and then flowers. They've been producing beans in abundance ever since. Delicious. Hopefully by blipping this it will remind me to plant many more vegetables much earlier next spring.
