Football Round Up

Once the pontoon duty had been done and the papers perused, off I did step on the long walk to the Cask & Barrel to view the second half of the Spurs v Liverpool game. What can you say? Same old Spurs!
On to live soccer to see the other side from Edinburgh in a table topping position - Edinburgh City playing Annan Athletic - and a decent 2-1 win. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Hearts recorded a fifth straight win to go five points clear at the top! Stop the league noo.
Then time to gets ourselves dolled up and head to the Caves, to celebrate big John’s son’s wedding along with AJ&P, F&J and Shandon’s very own Liz Taylor & Richard Burton. So says AJ anyway. And he was once a journalist and met everyone!
