Calmness Before the Storms

Mostly cloudy all day, but a bit of sunshine tried to break through.  Heavy showers at times, and no wind!

Another day working on the museum desk.  The day started with a textile group in, Wool Week starts soon and the knitters have started to arrive.  I had to set up for a Brexit event for this afternoon.  I hate Brexit an hate hearing of it.  Being in Shetland, we are so far from Edinburgh and London, our views are never listened to anyway.  A dry evening so far, and I managed a good walk with Sammy.  Off to work in the pub later. 

The calm before the storm arrived today, but sure the forecast had us for wind.  The leaves on the trees weren't even moving, not a breath of wind.  Looking like a different story for tomorrow, gales are due.  I'm sure the weatherman said it was Storm Helene coming, but some how that's gone and it seems like Storm Ali arriving, I'm confused.  This is the calmness at the Studio and Bulwark, below New Street, Scalloway.
