A Touch of Autumn

It was the bins of beautiful round orange pumpkins that did it, I suppose. And so it was that I was tempted into stopping at a local farm market for a look. And what a treat it was, a true sensory delight.

The place was chock full of colorful pumpkins, gourds, late-summer veggies, and even "Indian" corn, which I find fascinating to the touch and to the eyes. It was all worth celebrating, for it was among the first touches of autumn I've seen. Hooray!

The song: JP Cooper, with a very mellow and lovely version of September Song.
