If you can't beat them...

Solace Day 15. Tattenhall marina

I blipped this view as we weren't on the same berth as we left.  This berth is beside the engineers not because we were having problems but Solace was due her 1000 hours service.  This meant and early morning as we were asked to start the engine at 8:00 so it was nice and hot for the engineer.  Unlike a car you can't just open a drain in the bottom of the engine to get the oil out.  It needs to be drawn out by a pump.  Hot oil pumps more easily.

Another slight draw back of the marina is not having many share boats it doesn't have people to valet the boats.  We normally clean the boat but rely on the valet to ensure it is "up to scratch" so there was a little more work.

The run back up the motorway was effortless, it would be I wasn't driving).  Joking aside we had an easy run back arriving home mid afternoon allowing me to get to an evening meeting.
