An ordinary life....

Perthshire Road Trip...

The Sun Gods were good to us and after breakfast we hit the road to take Patricia a bit further afield and show her some of the Perthshire countryside.

We headed to Crieff then on to Aberfeldy via The Sma' Glen, stopping to let Patricia out of the car at opportune moments to take photographs.

Once in Aberfeldy we popped into the Watermill for lunch (delicious) then on to Loch Tay, where the sun was shining but there was a fresh breeze coming off the Loch.  Drive back via Glenquaich with lots of stops for photographs including some yellow sheep!

Before turning for home we headed to Dunning to  Maggie Wall's monument (see extra) as Patricia was keen to see the shrine to the local witch who was (allegedly) burned here in 1657.   The day ended in a high note at St Serf's Church where David got to have a play of the organ, see the Dupplin Cross and marvel at the sunshine streaming in the stained glass windows.

Patricia's blip beautifully illustrates the day.
