Time for bed

I was working in the chicken field just before sunset, changing their water containers and giving them extra straw for the approaching cold night.

I was surprised to see that a few chickens had taken up their nighttime position high up on the trees.

The ducks and geese stay outside but most of the chickens go inside their houses. Not this couple as they snuggled up together.
