Bi-Polar

Yoga this morning and another good stretch out combined with some relaxation, a perfect combination.

The whole day has been miraculously dry and so this afternoon I was able to set off to the moor without any waterproofs, although the ground is still incredibly boggy underfoot. The forestry boys are still working on clearing the harvested area of woodland I blipped last week and so it will probably not be long before new planting takes place. During the walk the light kept changing and highlighting different hills, trees and meadowland. I particularly liked the way the sun caught this larch tree against a brooding dark sky on the left and the bright, sunny aspect on the right.

It was getting cold as we finished the walk so home to a cuppa and a slice of the carrot cake I made yesterday.
