Tree Textures Monochrome

Walking in Links Woods at Tyninghame this morning I was struck by the sculptural qualities of this tree trunk. I thought it would look good in monochrome and have pushed the tonal variation just about as far as I could in SiverEfexPro. I guess its the rings around where a branch has bee removed that caught my eye
