Pupae

These are just some of the pupae I have from the larvae I have reared this summer. These are pupae of the Striped Hawk moth Hyles livornica, an immigrant species that only occurs in small numbers in the UK each year. I acquired these as eggs from a fellow moth enthusiast, and have been raising them out of interest, all my other species that I have pupae of are native to my area.
