Shoe for Joy

I had a bit of fun trying out my new 55 - 250 mm f/4-5.6 IS II lens this morning, re-visiting a scene I blipped in June using my point-and-shoot.

These trainers have been dangling from the overhead cables for at least 5 1/2 years, maybe longer.

Luckily for me, this pair of playful magpies happened to shoot across the sky just as I took the shot! I think it works quite well, but I'm struggling to think of a pithy comment about shoes and birds.


Edit: I thought of a better title: shoe for joy!
