Gutted

The fabulous Lowther Castle was gutted during the late forties and fifties and the roof removed to avoid death duties. It couldn't be given away!

I was gutted today when I realised, tonight, that a photo competition I had been inspired to enter, and had already worked a lot on, had closed at midday today, not the usual midnight!
