A beautiful autumn day today, with a bit of a breeze. Roger was finishing up some yard work in the morning, while I did some jobs around the house, but around lunchtime we set off for a bike ride, picking up a sandwich on the way. We started today at Mathers Mill. Being midweek, it was really quiet on the bike trail, especially on the way out. We did pass a few more people on our return. We cycled as far as Corwin, where we stopped to enjoy our sandwich at a picnic table at the side of the trail. I was aiming to do 9 miles before turning around, though in fact it was just a touch less than that, as the trail beyond 8 3/4 was closed. I was really struggling today however, so was very glad once we got back to the car.
