Kezar Falls

Dear Diary,

Now that the rain has finally stopped I am able to enjoy the lovely foliage of a Maine autumn.  This is the Ossipee River in my village.  "Ossipee" is an Abnaki, Native American, word meaning "beyond the water".  When I left on my trip there was no falling water, the river was so low.  I am glad to see it return to its normal state.

All my animal friends have returned to their normal state as well and I've been visited by deer and turkeys as well as the usual cast of furred and feathered characters.  Today is the feast day of St. Francis appropriately.  I hope I can get pictures of all my little friends over the next few days.  It is nice to be home.
