Over the river

Another damp, drizzly and dull day today, so I've been sorting out some old photographs and scanning others to include in my family history files.

This is one of the family removal vans out on a job - the caption says 'Woolwich ferry, 1925'. I think this lorry would have been rather ancient even then!

My brother has just reminded me that this vehicle was modified from a Model T car!
