The Calm Before the Storm After the Storm

It has been gloriously sunny here today. Very odd as you drive through the floods and the mud and the gravel and bits of fallen trees on the roads.
We're off to Snowdonia for the weekend in about five minutes - this weekend last year was rubbish weather as well!
Why can't my brother's birthday be in August? Oh wait, that was rubbish too.....
Hopefully we'll get there in one piece - setting off at 7pm on a Friday night when the roads are apparently terrible isn't our best idea ever!!!
At least the Little Misses will sleep because they're currently driving me up the wall with their craziness.
