Today we wandered around Ilam Park, through Ilam village and on through Dovedales to the famed stepping stones. Glorious weather & fabulous scenery. We stopped off in Ashbourne where we met Ray (se extra), one time welder, steel fabricator, lift engineer, now owner of 3 vintage clothes shops. His wife was a high-flying pharmaceutical executive who was stressed out with work & wanted to follow her passion for vintage clothes, so she ditched her high-paying job to join hubby in a new life for them both. One month later wife was head-hunted for a huge ransom for a job in pharmaceuticals. So now Ray runs with the wife's passion running 3 high-end vintage clothing shops. Funny how things work out.
