Out and About

With Jamie today.  Two appointments.  One gave me a chance to pop into the city centre and have a mooch round the market.  I started work in one of the alleys close by back in 1982 so it's an old stamping ground.  During the second appointment I visited a Garden Centre on the ringroad, oh dear, a few nice plants, a lot of overpriced bulbs and and awful lot of expensive tat!   At least it was free entry :-)

Later I had a mini-workout on the allotment, lifting some strawberry plants from abandoned plots ... we now have a strawberry patch of our own.

This nice bi-coloured form of Crocus goulimyi has been flowering in this raised bed for the last few years.
