Sheltered

The autumn crocuses need to be with the weather as it has been.  This is the bluest Crocus niveus I grow .... and the largest flowered, growing sheltered by Sophora davidii from which I have trimmed away all the lower and trailing growth.

A quiet day recovering after all the travelling and a very uncomfortable night on Ruth's floor midweek - well if you forget your self inflating mattress and sleeping bag what do you expect!!    Una seemed bright on a visit late afternoon and Taverham WI were an appreciative audience for a talk on bulbs tonight.  Time for some zeds now though.
