Woodland Views

After a spot of housework I went over to the studio to help Mrs madwill with her latest creations that will be shown on TV when she makes her next appearance in three weeks time.

New skills learned today - cutting 5.5 inch wide strips of fabric and then fixing Bondaweb to the back of these strips. Bondaweb is an adhesive paper that you iron on to the fabric and then cut out the required shapes. The paper can be peeled off leaving the adhesive behind ready to stick the fabric down before sewing in place.

I shall now be spending a while cutting out bloomin’ C*******s tree shapes. These will be used to create a table centrepiece for the big day!

A late afternoon walk through the woods with Finlay. Autumn colours really kicking in now, especially the falling beech leaves. I like this view around the old fallen tree stump. Two more big trees have come down in the recent storm. Another longer view in the extras.
