Better in mono

Lex and I were in her garden taking shots of her hydrangea bush when I spotted this web deep inside.  I wasn't sure if the web would be visible in the photo, but it was, and even more striking in the mono.  The original photo is my Extra.

I visited the hand doctor today, and took photos of the bleak and bare waiting room at the UW Medicine office where she practices. I had originally planned to blip one of those for the Mono Monday challenge, but this one is nicer to look at.  Fortunately my doctor is a lovely person who makes one feel important and cared about.  It turns out that I do have de Quervain's tendinitis, as well as the arthritis.  She gave me an injection for the tendonitis and now we will see if it helps.

Then it was up to Lex and Doug's house for lunch and to say goodbye, as they are leaving for Sicily tomorrow.  I will be watering her plants and keeping an eye on the suet for the birds while they are gone.
