Calm Before The Storm

Back on the Big D Treadmill today.  It went ok.  I had to have a snooze again later as I felt exhausted.

Down Cardiff in the evening to see the Devils' last CHL game of 2018.  We were playing Vaxjo Lakers, who we thrashed at home last year.  It was an incredible game!  3-0 down, we came back to draw 3-3, but within seconds of starting the last period we were 4-3 down.  Yet again we dug deep and came back, and then took the lead 5-4.  The Lakers got the equaliser though and then we headed to overtime, where they nicked a winning goal.  We've been quite unlucky in this CHL campaign, now we focus on retaining our league title.

I saw next to a young Finnish lady at the game, she was on holiday and heard a CHL game was on and wanted to watch it.  We had a good chat and she was involved in our high five celebrations after the Devils scored.
