Treshnish Isles

It's been a rather lovely day here, with sunshine most of the day. There have been intermittent showers. In fact, we got caught in one when we went out for a walk about 3.30pm. We picked our way along the shore and up towards Treshnish Head before coming out onto the shoreline below Haunn cottages with a view of the Treshnish Isles as the sun started to sink. I think the dominant isle from this perspective is known as the Dutchman's cap.

From there, we took the path back to the cottage. It was the biggest walk I'd done since July, and I was quite pleased with myself for how I coped with pretty rough terrain.

Earlier on I popped out a few times with the camera in order to break up the day, so I've added a couple of extras.
