Comfortably Numb

After a busy, though albeit enjoyable, past couple of days, a lazy day was called for. And a lazy day was what I got.

Rising late, a trip to Kilsyth for groceries was just about the highlight of the day. Almost, but not quite. After a day doing very little apart from recharging the batteries - of self and various devices - a return trip to Perth was made in the evening. The reason was a concert by the UK Pink Floyd Experience, and very good they were too!

The concert was certainly value for money, as it was around three hours from start to finish (including a 20-minute interval) and it was a visual as well as a musical delight. I appreciate that Pink Floyd aren't everyone's cup of tea, but fans of the band would be hard-pressed not to like this 'tribute' act. It was a first-rate performance from beginning to end.

(And, no, I didn't spend the evening taking photos of the concert on my mobile phone! This was taken during the encore just so I'd have a Blip for the day. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by how few people felt the need to record the event on their mobile phones for posterity.)
