1458. Echoes of the past....

After yesterday’s joyful image with the lovely Helena....today’s image is much more sombre and reflective....our trip to Germany hasn’t been a holiday as such but a journey into the past and some terrible reflections on the utter cruelty of human beings....
This is an image of the entrance to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp not far from Berlin...it’s a sad place full of ghosts....
I took a photo of a photo from the visitor centre and laid it over my own image showing the shadows of the people who suffered so much there...we can never let this happen again....I know this is not the worst place for atrocities but it is one of many...such loss and sadness there...I have just realised that the MM challenge is “alien”...such terrible actions are alien to me so I’ve tagged this for MM too...
