Do you ....

... recognize this lovely face in the thumbnail?!?!

Richard and I had such a wonderful, fantastic, marvelous, outstanding, superb, extraordinary (do you get the idea!?!) day!

We were up early to get on the road early as we had a semi-long drive ahead of us .... heading for Mystic, Connecticut for an awesome blipmeet!  We were off to meet the lovely ladies pictured above .... and we couldn't have been happier!  Pictured are from left to right .... Betsey, Trish and Dolly.

The lovely Dolly has been visiting the States and staying with the equally lovely Betsey & T at Dogcorner in Massachusetts. We had arranged to meet in Mystic today as it's located somewhere in between each of our homes.  Richard & I arrived around 11:30 ish and went to the arranged meet up park.  As there was not much parking at this location I sent a text to Betsey to see about just meeting at the Mystic Seaport Museum which we were going to visit anyway.  They were only about 20 minutes away so it worked out perfectly to meet at the Seaport instead.

R & I had met Betsey a couple of times but had only met T very briefly one other time two years ago.  And, of course, this was our first time meeting Dolly! It was wonderful to finally meet Dolly after following her on blip for many years ..... and getting to know both her and T was very special.

After meeting in the parking lot of the Seaport Museum we headed off to lunch at Mystic Pizza ..... made famous by a movie filmed there in 1988 starring Julia Roberts! The food was good but the company was even better!!

After lunch we went back to the Seaport Museum and had a marvelous afternoon exploring the area and enjoying each other's company! I have added an extra with just some of the highlights of this fantastic day! The weather was perfect for most of the time .... it was a beautiful Autumn day!

It was soon time for us to disband .... each going our separate ways.  R and I will be spending the night in the area as there is someplace nearby we want to explore tomorrow.  And Dolly will be leaving for home tomorrow afternoon so they headed back to Dogcorner.

But not before we (Dolly, R and I) exchanged some gifts with each other. We received some wonderful gifts from Dolly that we will treasure always and think of her each time we see or use them!  I will most likely blip these on Monday!  Our gift to her paled in comparison to the thoughtful gifts she brought us.

Thank you so much to B, T and Dolly for such a memorable day that we will not soon forget!  Until the next time .... love and hugs!!!! ♥♥♥
