Across the Lake

Lonny came to visit, and as soon as he arrived we went out for a short walk. The reason for our haste was that rain was forecast, and with a bit of luck we could avoid it if we went out NOW!  If you look closely at the water you can see the rain arrived but it was just a few drops.
People who have visited Sweden think all the houses are painted red, with white corners and white window frames. I can't think where that idea comes from...
Later, after dark, it really rained hard, filling our water butts in just a couple of hours. Fortunately we were inside by then, enjoying Janet's soup and the delicious Bulgarian wine Lonny had fetched home after his latest trip.
This is a backblip, today's rather uninspired blip is to be found here.
