Trunk calls.......

Such a shame about the two baby elephants who have died today at Chester Zoo :-(

Was awake early this morning, way before it was light.....little wren was awake too, chirping away, such a lovely little sound!!

We were up and ready by 9.....almost unheard of(!!) as sis was coming to ours for 10am. We both had appointments for a pedicure, so I am now holiday feet ready :-) so is sis, she's going over to Belgium in her Motorhome with Kobi so dont think she will get much chance to get her feet out ;-)

Hub decided to stay home for his lunch, whilst we went to Bents for lunch and a browse. It was ridiculously busy.....as massive as the car park is, we both had to wait for someone leaving to park! It is half term, and they already have their Christmas displays up, so it was manic! We had a lovely chicken sandwich with garlic and lemon mayo so I am currently rocking the vampire repellent...hubs already said Im in the spare room tonight! ;-)

The weather today has been milder but very drab and drizzly.......the trees are looking decidedly autumnal now, if the forecast for this weekend is right, most of these leaves will fall I would think! This shot is rather dark but does look much better bigified!

No tea as such tonight, might just have a bowl of soup, as we are off quizzing later.......
