The Chill Factore

Rach was working today, Violet went to nursery, and Scarlett and I had fun at The Chill Factore in Manchester, which is an indoor ski slope and snow park with 'real' snow.  We went sledging, slid down the ice luge and whizzed down the downhill donuts!

It's great as the snow park is for children over 4 years and every activity is designed so that they can do it with an adult, although the sledging and donuts they can actually do on their own and after a few goes on the sledge together, Scarlett was brave enough to go down the hill herself - she just needs to learn how to stop without crashing head first into the barrier!  Fortunately it's padded and she was wearing a helmet, so it wasn't a problem and she walked away laughing.

We had a good hour in the snow, met Migo from the movie Smallfoot and then had lunch at Nando's before heading back to Warrington.  I popped into Decathlon to get some new gym wear, and then we went to see Alan's mum and dad for an hour.

We met Rachel & Violet at David Lloyd so the girls could have a play in the soft play, and they stayed to have their dinner there.  I then popped over to see Alison and take her some flowers as her mum sadly passed away last month.

It's been a very busy day, but lots of fun and I'm tired now and need to go to sleep as I have a feeling I may we woken up quite early in the morning!
