with a hawk

it was a fluke - 1 minute not there - the next, there it was - flying high in the blue sky

i wasn't even sure of what - i was seeing really - and truth be told - this is a crap shot - but he was flying fast - gave me no time to think - or react when i actually thought - i was looking at a different bird - and because he was moving - so quickly, this was the only shot - i was able to get off - before he moved over the rooftops - out of my line of sight - i kept hoping he'd circle back - but it wasn't meant to be - sometimes that's just the way of it - you take what you get - and make it...
