Back to Seville from Jerez

Up early and all packed and out the door of our lovely apartment in the old part of Jerez by 9.30. Beautiful sunrise early on.

We stopped on the way to the station at a traditional Cafe for breakfast. Busy already with locals but we found a table outside then it was a short walk to the station for the high speed train to Seville.

Forty minutes later we were back in the main station in Seville and walked through the car park to get a bus to our hotel a 10 minute drive away. We were a bit early to get checked in so dropped off our case and rucksacks and had a wander round the Alcazar area. I started to wilt as today it was 38 and no wind! We decided to head back to the hotel for a lie down and get freshened up and see where our last meal of the holiday would be.

Found a great place nearby selling Arabic food called Al Sultan and also it was an inside restaurant very importantly with air con as it was still 36 at 730pm.

The waiter helped us choose and I must say the food was fabulous! We’ve had very good food this holiday and I must admit it is better than the Portuguese and add that I found it very good too.

Short walk back to the hotel and alarm set for 7.30 as taxi pick up to the airport.
