Leucospermum Cordifolium Plus a Spider

I was up at the Arboretum with a nature journaling group for a couple hours this morning. Our task was to choose a plant and draw it multiple times, from different aspects, and in great detail, in order for someone to be able to identify it. Quite a challenge, especially with the plant I picked. I was trying to puzzle out how to draw this complicated flower when I spotted the teeny tiny spider sitting inside. I did not draw the spider, but I can imagine spending days at this assignment. The more you look, the more you see, the more complex it gets, the more wondrous. Just look at how all the parts fit together!
