Rudy is out on a limb!

Dear Diary,

At this time of year there is a lot of activity in Auntie's tree.  Lots of furred and feathered friends are taking advantage of the tiny fruit that grows on it.  An autumn treat.  Rudy was really going out on a limb to get the best ones!  I loved watching him, so agile.  Of course, with Ollie around Rudy better take heed or he'll be the tender treat of an owl!

Looks like we are in for three days of pretty steady rain.  Oh joy.  At least John was able to get the raking done yesterday.  The first day of November and in a couple of days we turn the clocks back.  The wheel turns whether we are ready for it or not.
