Raspberry.

A busy day.  The guests had to leave the Lodge early so we popped out to take the laundry ready for the cleaner at the weekend.  We called in on the way to the wood yard and "the Mate's" workshop to pick up wood for maintenance we will be starting now visitors are getting less frequent as the season draws to an end.

In the afternoon I visited Kanyl and as usual had a wander round his garden looking for blips.  One thing which struck me was that he still has Raspberries on the canes.  We have had night time temperatures down to -5ºC while 5 miles away by road and less as the crow flies he has had only -0.9ºC.   He is in town and a few hundred feet lower which will make a big difference but that is more than I expected.
