The sun voyager

Today is our last day in Iceland. We have a few hours to kill before heading to the airport so I dragged sis and I down to the harbour. My bucket list was to see the ‘Sun Voyager’ preferably at sunset or sunrise. I didn’t achieve the sunrise/sunset bit but did make sure I saw the sun voyager and I quite liked the colours in the sky.

I have loved Iceland. When I come again I want to come for longer and in summer so that I can do some hiking. I might have to forgo the aurora to do it but the landscape is too beautiful not to explore more fully.

Suspect we are in for a bumpy ride home, it is blowing a hoolie today!
