to Smile

Yesterday our annual beekeeping exhibition and show was held at st. Johns.

I always approach this competition with a little trepidation but my efforts have met with a degree of success!  Second prize for medium colour honey and for mead.

Don't tell the judge but I actually found the mead at the back of the garage where it had lain undisturbed for years!

I am still not certain that I really like the taste of mead....
