Great Haywood Junction.

The first weekend in November is the AGM for our boat syndicate.  This is held in Great Haywood. an site Logical as the boat is in the marina there.  So Clickychick and I drove down with the caravan to a very convenient little CL (Caravan and Motorhome Club Certified Location = 5 van site).

This is just a couple of hundred yards along from the farm shop at the marina entrance.  We needed to pop in there but first we drove out to Tixal as CC wanted to take a shot of an avenue of trees.  I think one of the entrances to the Shugborough estate.

Then it was back to the farm shop some quick shots of the canal and inside to shop.  We always end up buying  more than we went in for, they have such unusual/good quality things.

So the blip is late afternoon looking from the road bridge towards the junction of the Trent and Mersey canal with the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal.
