Bahia del Duque

Already getting into our routine.....slept well last night.

Up reasonably early, we had planned to have a lazy day on the balcony but as it has been pretty cloudy all day, we decided to go out for a walk instead.

First stop our fav little coffee shop, its popular with the locals, nothing flash, but great coffee!
We stayed a couple of hours.....had a tuna salad roll for lunch, hub had egg and bacon.

Another lengthy stroll along the coastal path, in the opposite direction, towards La Caletta. We stopped for a breather, treated ourselves to a Mojito, before an about turn......we did grab a cab for the last leg, as its all up a steep hill. Hubs knees are not what they were! We did top 13k steps though, so not bad! Todays blip is the secluded beach outside the very lovely Del Duque Hotel....its one of the few beaches wih paler sand.

We ended up having a meal in resort again, I had prawn and smoked salmon lasagne, it was gorgeous! A bottle of wine, a coffee and a brandy, a chat with friends and neighbours rounded off a very nice day, despite the lack of sun :-)

An earlier night, in bed before midnight ;-)
