The peanut thief

Singing, domestic stuff, walk on the Common, chat with Tom, some  bookkeeping. Where did the day go?!

At least four red squirrels (extras) around one of the feeders on the Common, eating, preening, chattering, chasing each other up and down and round and round trees. Wonderful.
On the other side of the track, lots of little birds, mostly tits, have discovered another squirrel feeder, full of peanuts. Over the last few weeks they've been pecking away at the wood on the corner, and the resulting hole is now just large enough to extract a nut, though it takes a bit of effort. This little guy looks quite pleased with its prize!
