Lake District Day 4

The last day of the blipper's week at LPH. Another interesting day weather wise but a good challenge to make the overcast conditions not put us off our photography. We headed to Slater's Bridge, a picturesque spot and popular, much patience was required to get shots without people on it or in the frame (third of the extras). The blip was actually just on from the bridge catching a few reflections in some calm water the other side of the bridge.

As the rain really started, we headed up to Cathedral Quarry (more like a cave with a hole in the roof). Really quite atmospheric inside once your eyes adjusted to the dark. The holes in the roof create a photography challenge with a massive dynamic range that could only be captured with multiple bracketed shots. My best try, the second extra was five shots.
