Remembrance Day

There will be a service at Fort Scratchley where these poppies are tomorrow but  I doubt that I will get close to the poppies and at least not get a shot of them without someone in it so I decided to get the shot today and just be in the moment tomorrow in the service.  The Friends of the Fort called out for volunteers to make poppies to represent the 2127 local men whose lives were lost in the war.  They got over 5000 in the end and they have come from all over Australia.  People can be so generous can't they.

Aside from that, while the weather has been beautiful I haven't really achieved all that much today but it's nice to have a lazy day every so often isn't it.
