Remembrance

How nice to see two wreaths on the grave of this young man, an Irishman who joined the Grenadier Guards. His is a sad story though for he was wounded late in 1918 and sent home. On board ship he caught Spanish Flu and died four days before the end of the war. Today, the area around his grave,  in a tiny remote churchyard, was strimmed and flattened, a service held to him and all the fallen in the morning.
