View from my chair

A lazy morning reading as  it was a little cold outside but after lunch I decided to get some exercise by raking the front yard. The oak leaves are still on the tree but there were plenty in the yard.   I know they were laughing at me as I raked since they will fall soon!   Got a blister on my thumb too because I did not want to go in to get my work gloves.   

I spotted this  yellow leafed  hickory tree in the back yard perfectly framed by the window curtains when I looked up from my book.  I must have my chair in the right place since I did not even have to stand up to get the photo...just zoomed in!
