The Edge of the Wold

Beech mast

The general rule is not to put your subject in the centre of the frame...but it worked better today than placing the little beech tree on one of the thirds. At last a bright morning and that rarest of things, a blue sky. There was a bit of wind chill, though, at the high point of Dallam Park where the little beech tree lives.

Tonight we are going to have a treat, a walk to the Albion in the moonlight for a pub meal.

Tomorrow I am heading off to see my Dad for a few days. I shall not have the wherewithal to blip when I am away, so I shall be missing from here for a few days - hopefully there may be a backblip or two to share.

A year ago, a headless curlew.
