Spiky

The spiky plant has produced a big flower stem. Can’t remember if it has done this before, or if those near misses with the strimmer have frightened it into being more prominent.

Grey day - quite a change from yesterday.  CarbBoy’s half-trimestriel report arrived - it’s a new system and clearly everyone else was as non-plussed as me given that a second email arrived from the Head a few hours later asking if everyone could please stop emailing and calling him about the reports!  Once we got to the bottom of it, it seemed to be saying good things.

Started a very challenging bit of work today. I foresee a few sleepless nights.
