Job done.

I intended to Blip something more exciting today, but after working for four hours or so at the Walled Garden, a lot of it spent talking, it was 4pm and getting gloomy and so a view of the completed bed was what it had to be.

Having carried eight bags of leaf mould down the steps from the car park and spread it over the weeded bed, I then dismembered an old compost heap and went through it shovel by shovel as it was full of the white perennial roots of something unidentifiable. It was lovely stuff, however, and when spread on top of the leaf mould I thought it looked rather nice and worth another Blip!

It was either that, or a picture of the sausage casserole I'm cooking for tonight's dinner!
